Her Nexx Chapter is a women’s virtual empowerment 501(c)3 organization that provides engagement topics and activities that connect and support women from around the world. From life skills with wellness to soft skills for growth, the education, workshops and community relationships reveal our commitment to “The Future of Connection for Women.” We are entirely virtual and volunteer-run, with volunteers represented from all over the USA and multiple countries.

The Event Coordinator of planning committees will help oversee aspects of our upcoming InspireHER Nexx Chapter Conference in Fall 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a working relationship with vendors and venues.
  • Understanding the complex needs of different events and diverse audiences.
  • Planning event aspects, such as screening our talent, coordination with guest speakers, scheduling recording dates and working with our Marketing and Production teams.
  • Setting up Facebook, Eventbrite, Meetup, and local city public calendars.
  • Ability to delegate event planning tasks to other volunteer staff members where necessary.
  • Communicating with staff and organizing corporate alignment, vendors and sponsors.

Requirements:

  • Experience with event planning/event coordinating is a plus, but not required
  • Computer skills and savvy online
  • Available for virtual strategy meetings

  • Creative collaboration
