Her Nexx Chapter is looking for an experienced Event Project Manager who will oversee end-to-end virtual events from ideation to execution. The individual in this position will be successful in creating and organizing events that will make an impact on a target audience so as to meet organizational goals and expectations. This individual will also ensure production teams deliver their services in a timely manner and help with logistics such as virtual, social media, and live TV streaming platforms.
Requirements:
- Experience in event planning, TV production, Social Media streaming is a plus but not required.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of marketing techniques for event management
- Possess remarkable problem-solving skills
- Must be an excellent team player with great interpersonal relationship skills
- Skilled in project management
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and plan an event working in tandem with a dedicated team to include Marketing, PR and Editorial departments
- Work closely with corporate alignment, speakers and event talent
- Develop and maintain corporate alignment relationships
- Provide direction, motivation, leadership, and support with collaboration of the committee’s team
- Handle operational and administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
- Collaborate with external production team, show producers, partnership alignment and make suggestions on how to enhance events
- Coordinate all operations on, before and after the day of the event
- Analyze the success of an event and prepare after-event reports
- Take charge of promotional activities for an event
- Ability to show calmness under intense pressure
