Reflections by Lady Chap: The Power of “Joy” Within the Season

Dec 20, 2021 | 0 comments

The holidays are finally here, which means shifting into the season. And what a better way than with a happy and cheerful spirit.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. But not because of the stack of shiny gifts that towers under the tree. It’s because of the time spent away from the hustle and bustle of the season so you can “PAUSE” and surround yourself with those who matter the most. For me, Christmastime is a time for me to reflect and think about wonderful memories of those whose presence will be missed this holiday.

This is a season of giving: giving your heart, giving your spirit, giving your all, giving your love.

JOY is different from happiness; joy is deeper than happiness at which happiness is an emotion. Whereas joy is a feeling of extreme exultation of the spirit arising from a sense of well-being. The feeling of joy may take two forms: passive and active. Passive joy involves tranquility and a feeling of contentment with things as they are.

Seek your joy through guidance, wisdom and peace in order to move forward through your journey of life.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Lady Chap shares and wishes you the best with my prayers, my praises, my love and butterflies that have the freedom to fly!
